What surfaces can d-c-fix adhesive films be applied to?
Our films can be applied to any smooth, dry, and dust-free surface including furniture, kitchen cabinets, glass, mirrors, and smooth walls. They are not recommended for textured surfaces or unsealed wood.
Is the film heat resistant for use in kitchens?
Yes, d-c-fix films are heat resistant up to 70°C (158°F). While they are perfect for kitchen cabinets and worktops, we recommend using a trivet for hot pots or pans directly from the stove.
How long does shipping take for my order?
Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days within the continental US. Express shipping options are available at checkout if you need your DIY materials sooner.
Can I remove the film without damaging my furniture?
Absolutely. Our films are designed for easy removal. Simply peel back a corner and pull gently. For older installations, using a hairdryer to lightly warm the adhesive will make the process even smoother without leaving residue.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy for unopened and unused rolls in their original packaging. Please note that custom-cut items or partially used rolls cannot be returned.
Are d-c-fix films water-resistant for bathroom use?
Yes, our vinyl films are water-resistant and can be used on bathroom vanities or tiles. However, we recommend sealing the edges with silicone if the film will be in direct, frequent contact with standing water.
